Eurasian Jay (Garrulus Glandarius)

The Eurasian Jay can be found across most of the UK in your local woodlands and parks. The jay is the most colourful member of the crow family they are pinkish-grey with black and bright blue patches on their wings, they have a white rump which contrasts with its back tail.

The Eurasian Jay likes to live in oak trees, in the autumn they bury acorns to retrieve later in the winter. They also feed on nuts, seeds, insects and other bird’s eggs.
